When you’re a child, you are a raw talent.
People argue that your rawness lack structure, awareness of potential danger, and is both ignorant and uneducated. Some people will even create rules and systematic structures to ensure that your rawness is shaped into their perception of who they believe you should be. They will characterize it as an act of love, stating that they are protecting you from a chaotic result. Sounds good, until you realize that their inability to let your vision be free is oppressive. Now you’ve lost your raw identity in other people’s perception of you. This leads you to a state of rebellion, where you become willing to break all the rules, and take on chaos face to face, all to find out…
All of the obstacles you overcame, were only put there for you to learn how to both recognize those whose lost their inner child, and learn how to effectively communicate with them so they can gain it back. #blackchild
